i had T_or_C (strong long lasting leg shivering) in a right leg, first affected, for app 2 years and suddenly - it disappeared. better to say - it removed to left leg. what is most interesting, T_or_C weakens from day to day and it started to be mind controlled. i can stop it (sometimes) if i concentrate enough, but it is not easy.
it lasts app 2 minutes and then stops. after changing position (at night, mostly), here it comes again!
as i wrote, T_or_C seems to be weaker and weaker on a daily basis.
is T_or_C als's action, or body's reaction? if it is action, it left my right leg which is in a same condition when it started, so it is not logically that als starts something without consequence.
if it is reaction, it's obviously body's defence.
anybody wants to share similar experience?
is it clonus, tremor or something third?

I have been having this in my left leg for about two years. All my symptoms are on the left and PLS is my current diagnosis. It will happen every night for a couple weeks and then stop for a couple. Only at night and when I reposition myself. The shivering desorption is perfect, I hadn't thought of that. My Neuro didn't seem concerned and thought the baclofen would help. It still happens though!
