I know I'm late to this thread, but FWIW, I am a 48 year old Tobii I12 series user with the three level progressive lenses described above. It's not perfect but it beats trying to focus with the wrong prescription or without glasses at all. I do have to calibrate a few times a day, especially if the light changes or glasses get dirty or if someone is reading over my shoulder. I dread sunny days because the glimmering light wreaks havoc. I find that the Tobii works better if I have a light on behind it. Somehow this seems to help it find my eyes. I considered lasic but the recovery would be a real challenge and didn't seem worth it. Plus I live alone so it would be impossible to switch glasses if no one were here.
