Hello. My son had Trisomy 18 (not sure if I should be here) the struggles I imagine are very similar though. He had just turned 11 but sadly passed away last month and he had a Tobii communication device that I don’t know what to do with along with many of his things.
Although I’d LOVE to just donate I’m a single mother and have found myself hurting financially especially being out of work while he was in the hospital dying.

Just looking for information or anyone looking to buy. It is one of the newer models with eye gaze. I don’t need what it actually costs and not looking to be greedy. Just need some help and I have this amazing machine that could change someone’s life as it did ours.
Thank you!

I moved your thread to the For Sale forum.
I am very sorry for your loss.

Very sorry for your loss, Andover. In addition to your local ALSA chapter, would suggest also contacting the Muscular Dystrophy Association and children's hospitals in your area, for possible connections.

Best,
Laurie

I am so sorry for the loss of your son AM. The Children's Hospital Boston's Augmentative Communication Program is one thought as they work with many ALS patients to get a Tobii, also Compassionate Care ALS in West Falmouth, MA has a specialist in communication devices who may be able to help out.

Thank you all so much! Truly
AM
