It's fairly easy to learn and there are games on the software that help you practice. I do believe it is compatible with the Mac Book Pro but I suggest you look at the Tobii website first to be sure. My mother only used it twice before she passed away so I'm unfamiliar with it. I do know you can pay a monthly fee for internet access and features to answer your telephone and control your television.
