I just wanted to tell all of you caregivers how much I respect the unbelievable work you are doing. My wonderful brother-in-law passed away on September 30 from this horrible horrible disease. My sister and their boys took care of him at home until the very end. They ended up doing work that you can never anticpate, but did it all with courage and dedication because they loved him.

The term "hero" is thrown around pretty easily in our society -- athletes, actors, etc. But you are the true heroes. The world goes on, and most people will never know what you do. But please know that those who have seen this disease close up know what spectacular people you are.

I am in awe of you and God bless you.

Hi Interest. welcome to the forum. I am sorry about your BIL. I agree, caregivers are the unsung heroes of the day. When faced with the possibiity that someday I may need someone to wipe my chin, I realize just how unselfish and wonder ful the caregivers of the world really are. Cindy
