Nah Casey, I'll bring a paddle. We'll be good...

I love many things shared on this thread!
Today, on our road trip to the ALSA Advocacy mtg in DC, I love travel plazas, or other public places, with unisex handicap bathrooms so Roy doesn't have to go into the Ladies!

I love sunshine.
I love small birds flitting about in the yard and garden.
I love the new pwc's all round the world (but especially ones on small islands).
I love all the lovely, devoted, exceptional children we hear from and about on this site.
I love wind gently blowing the last of the coloured autumn leave off the trees so they fall to the ground.
I love my new dressing gown (soft mint green).
I love this thread, how it creates positive energy and keeps me focused on how wonderful life is for me and so many........ no matter what.

I love Sally's post and this thread!

I love that even though my husband is completely immobile with only eye movement (which is bloomin hard work for him) he told me today that he loves me and all that I do for him and that he wishes he could live forever.

I love that while lay in his bed today he wanted the back door open so that he could feel the fresh air.

I love that he made such an effort to thank our wonderful neighbour for cutting our grass.

I love that he let our smelly, scruffy dog lay on his bed next to him even though he is hygiene ocd.

I love that despite everything he is smiling and loving and has made me feel very very special today just with his smile.

I love that he is here and that he has tremendous willpower.

I love that he isnt giving up.

I love that the sun in shining and we lay on his bed together with it warm on our faces.

I love that he is letting me watch a programme he hates on tv tonight.

I love our life together however hard its challenges are.

I love that you and your husband can do this together, Rachel. That's all so special.

I love that after a busy, busy week with no time to come back here and check, I find SO MUCH LOVE! I LOVE that!

I love that yesterday was my last day at work.

I love the sound of my mom's voice when she says, all high-pitched and girly, "Only three more days!"

I love the gorgeous sunny-but-cool days we've had recently.

I love the fact that my son did NOT lose his social security card after all! (Whew!)

I love it that the *whole world* is praying for strength for those with ALS, for comfort for those grieving, and for insight for those searching for the cure THIS WEEKEND.

I love all the responses to this thread!

I love that my support group had our first annual "Walk and Roll for ALS Awareness" today.

Love that it was not a fundraiser just a good time being crazy and having fun.

Love that we had close to 150 people.

Love the Live music, snacks, tea, water.

Love that it was all donated.

Love that we will be posting pictures on our Facebook page, Tulsa Area ALS Support Group.

I love lovers like Rachel and her husband.
I love Mothers, especially today.
I love both my sons equally yet entirely differently.
I love salmon, cooked perfectly, just for me, in parchment with veg and sauce.
I love my husband, who can do just about anything better than just about anyone.

I love this thread!

I love the fact that every day I share with my precious Husband is a blessing!

I love that I have amazing daughters who are willing to look past their father's prognosis and keep a "happy face" while proudly realizing the things that are to come!

I love that we have an amazing family (my Mom is a particular blessing), as well as my brother, his fiance, my grandmother and my aunts that have travelled from Texas and Florida multiple times in order to visit with us and offer support!

I love that we have a group of friends that show unconditional love and support and are there at the drop of a hat to make sure that Scott doesnt' overdo things or hurt himself while trying to accomplish the things that he wants to get done. The men are the best at stepping up and pulling the "card" on him! Makes me so very proud of my husband to know that our friends respect and love him (and us) so much!

I absolutely love the fact that when Scott when to got fishing yesterday off the bank (he can no longer get in his boat) that he actually walked around the lake and picked wildflowers (yellow, purple, red, white, etc.) and brought them home so that he and Holden could make homemade flower arrangments for Brandi and I for Mother's Day.

I realize I am blessed more than what I deserve.

Hugs and luv to all of you!

Ruth

That right there choked me up pretty bad . I know you're a great woman for your husband to say that. Those are powerful words he said, hope my mother feels the same as he does regarding my care of her.

I love all the PALS and CALS hitting Capitol Hill (US) today to advocate for all of us with their lawmakers. Thank you ALSA for organizing.

Ruth - you deserve all those things you are blessed with.

Highspirits - I am sure your mum feels the same

Kiwisally - my husband loves salmon - I rest a flake on his tongue for flavour, he likes too much salt on it but so what - HE LOVES IT

I love that my husband has a great doctor who does house calls.
I love that I have a respiratory specialist friend who will come over whenever I call him.
I love that my kids seem to be living a fairly regular life despite ALS in their lives.
I love the many great friends I made in the last 2 1/2 years since my husband's diagnosis.
I love having a hospital 3 blocks away from our house.
Most of all I love this forum where people manage to see positive stuff in the worst situations!
