Hi guys,
Previous thread below:
@ShiftKicker asked me not to post until I had an update from the doctor. I managed to get my bloods taken and the receptionist advised that my iron levels are high and I’ve to go back in 6 weeks for more bloods. I have not seen the doctor so they have not been able to look at the twitches or check for weakness in thigh.
I can still walk on heels, tip toes, go up and down stairs quickly and jump on the affected leg. However the leg feels off and continues to twitch constantly. I am also getting sporadic twitches around the body but the thigh twitch is constant.
Would high iron levels point towards ALS? I’ve read that high ferritin levels can point towards ALS and not sure if high iron falls under that category.
Would I have muscle weakness if I can carry out these tasks?
Thank you for any advice you guys are amazing.

Thigh Twitching
Looking for advice, I have developed a constant twitch in my right thigh above my knee. It’s been here around 5 days and occurs at rest. I tend to get twitches around the body but never in the one place like this. I haven’t noticed any weakness and can still perform exercises as normal...
