Hello folks,

I was wondering if anybody is familiar with this product.

The video is 4 minutes long.

I have a similar device called a walk aid. I got it when we thought i was having difficulty Recovering from a stroke. It eventually stopped working, because it was really ALS. What do you want to know?

Is it something worth getting? Right now I guess I have PLS, I am still able to walk with a cane, but I have noticed that my feet are getting more and more useless and are shuffling more instead of being picked up.

And is it any different than an AFO walking brace?

It is different. What it does is give you a shock when you step to lift your foot, but if your nerves don't work, it doesn't either. I don't know about PLS, but with ALS, my muscles atrophied, and my nerves didn't conduct anymore eventually, so it stopped working. It was, in my view, a waste of money. I wish i had just gone with an off the shelf AFO, instead of wasting thousands of dollars on the device, and every month having to get electrodes, not to mention it wasn't covered by insurance.
