Hello All,

As a recently-diagnosed PALS with Bulbar Onset, I wanted to thank everybody for great info and insight! Just got G-tube last Friday, and doing my best with many changes since June. Through reading many posts, I had a better understanding of what to expect with that procedure. Right now, mainly speech, breathing, and some swallowing issues. My partner, Laura was been incredible every step of the way.

So sorry you have had to join us, but you will find this site will become an immense support for you.

My husband is also bulbar onset, and has a peg for feeding. I'm glad you have a partner that is supporting you.

Welcome Mary Ellen. I am also bulbar onset and just got a PEG tube. Sorry you are having to find yourself with us but you found a great spot. Wishing you a quick recovery.
