ok so a few days ago i developed sudden weakness in my thumb on my left arm my left arm overall and my left leg but i can still walk balance pick up objects effortlessly etc but i am concerned about this weakness my left ankle also hurts when i bend it upwards

What did you doctor say?

haven't gone to one yet because my parents are incredibly stubborn and won't take me to one due to us not having health insurance

The best bet is for you to see a doc first before coming to a site for a rare terminal illness. At 20 years old, I'm not sure you need to wait for permission from your parents as you are over the age of 18. I'm not sure what your symptoms mean, but it's really best to try a walk in clinic or a community clinic that will help those without medical insurance.

Good luck and let us know what the docs say.

Looking at your seated and sleeping positions may help, when you have problems all down a side.

Best,
Laurie
