Part of the covid rules allowed televisits for medicare without the usual restrictions ( only rural remote visits plus some psych). This expires 6 months after the covid emergency ends. There is a bill to extend this for 2 years ( needs to be permanent but 2 years is better than nothing). It easily passed the House this summer but appears to be stuck in the Senate finance committee. Please message your Senators. Especially if one is one the finance committee. One of mine is ( Senator Warren)

if none of these are you your senators you can still message yours to lean on them. This isn’t just a PALS issue either it affects all the disabled and seniors on medicare. Also consider it would help with other issues besides ALS for your PALS as it would mean you could continue to televisit your pcp. Not everything can be handled remotely but much can
