Hi! I would like to share my story for any feedback and thought.

Back in 2004, I got an upper respiratory infection. And not inflamed the nerve in my inner ear. I experienced great dizziness from this and about 3 weeks after I started twitching all over. Had bad cramps and was certain I had ALS. After several test and time, it was determined I did not.

Well, on March 22, 2025, I woke up with tingling in my left arm and it just felt weird. I played it off thinking I might have slept on it. Well, I started twitching all over again. This didn’t go away completely from before, but would only happen every once in awhile. I then developed pain below my thumb on my left hand. This comes and goes. It also feels like my grip on my left hand isn’t the strongest, but I have good strength in my hand. My entire arm feels heavy and I can feel it when typing, which I do everyday. I also experienced tremors and shaking on my face and body.

Then on April 17th I noticed my left leg felt heavy and two days later I could feel pain at my sciatica nerve. It just continued to get worse and now I feel like I have limp when I walk. My leg is stiff and feels like I can’t naturally walk. I don’t think I feel weak in my leg, but not sure. I do experience some tingling I. My hand and leg at times.

I’m not sure what all these symptoms means or if I should be concerned. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi there-

If you could read here: Read Before Posting. It explains why symptoms that come and go, sensory issues, dizziness, etc, point to something else. The fact things started up after a virus also indicates something post-viral. If you have questions about your health, your best bet is to see a doctor for an exam, as Dr Google is notoriously alarmist (and wrong).

Take care
