Sorry for this post . I posted before I know, and I apologize for this.

My symptoms have progressed pretty rapidly the last two weeks.

  1. Extreme neck fatigue/strain started in posterior neck has now moved to front muscles of neck.
  2. I now have pain that seems to originate at all of the neck muscle tendons. Deep left Shoulder and trapezius pain.
  3. Posterior neck muscle appears to be wasting left side especially as well as posterior left shoulder. Also my hands especially right hand between thumb and fore finger.
  4. Fatigue/cramps in abdominal muscles .
  5. Fatigue/cramps in lumbar , mid, upper back.
  6. This on top of perceived weakness and cramps in arms and legs especially left side and facial muscles , plus twitches since onset.
  7. My hands, wrists joints, pads of fingers have all become painful when using them.
  8. Nasal voice with post nasal drip.
I am thinking axial onset ALS due to the posterior neck as well as trunk issues being the major areas. I had a clean EMG and clinical 2 weeks ago 30 days after onset . I dont know if the EMG picks up axial onset or not. Im not a doctor but I cant find anything else that fits whats going on with me.
I just got married I have a 3 yr old and two teenage boys I cant work anymore due to this. I dont know what to do , my primary care has said “hes out of diseases” and the neurologist who ran the clinical and EMG two weeks ago said “ see? I told you no ALS” Im not trying to have my hand held just you all are the only ones that seem to have any logical answers to my questions. To me this seems like MND progression.

I attached neck pic as well as EMG. He did not check all the muscles he annotated here seems like he just put a blanket N everywhere after checking muscles he did do left side and back of neck and trapezius though. Did not do any spinal musculature.

My thoughts are another neuro appointment but I dont even know what to ask for at this point , muscle biopsy? Heavy metals? A more in depth lyme test? Another EMG? I am lost , and I am sorry for this. Thank you. I will not post anything else. I will only listen if anyone has any ideas . I have made a donation . Thank you.

Previous thread muscle cramping, previous dysphagia, dropping items

You have a textbook normal EMG. You do not have ALS. Pictures are not helpful to us. You were answered extensively in your previous thread. There is nothing more we can tell you. Please address any additional concerns with your doctors.
