Hey guys, had my swallow study yesterday. My doctor thought my problem may be in my throat and I was aspirating causing my chronic couch. The speech pathologist yesterday said the throat was fine, but when the food and liquid got to the esophagus as soon as it entered it completely slowed way down and that is what is causing the choking and pain in chest area while eating, she did say it could cause food to back up in throat and cause aspiration. So off to Gastro Dr. Speech said she only works with the mouth to the esophagus. Does this sound like anything anyone has heard of. She told me to slow way down while eating until I see Gasto. How can I slow down, now I have a GP, Gastro, urologist, and an EMG scheduled this month.lol. Thanks everyone
