Hi everyone. I am extremely sorry for having to come on here and post please I hope you understand I’m in no way trying to undermine or be rude to this horrible illness. I am aware that my anxiety is likely the cause of me posting here but I’ve been dealing with crippling fear the past week and I can barely even type because I’m just so scared.
So the one day I noticed this slight weird feeling on a little spot on my inner left thigh, every now and then randomly throughout the day. About a day later I decided to examine my thigh. I discovered an indent. Like someone invisible is slightly pressing their finger into this one spot. I do have a lot of cellulite on my thighs, but this is a new appearance plus I could feel it before I saw it. It’s not that noticeable except up close or if I were to show it. I have photos as well. Doesn’t hurt. But I can still feel it kind of and I’m absolutely terrified because when I researched on google, one of the related searches were “ALs thigh dent.”
I’m a 27 y/o otherwise seemingly healthy female, do suffer from anxiety though.
I’m in constant fear of this possibility being a first very subtle sign of muscle wasting.
Thank you for taking the time for reading this, I was hesitant to even post here but I’ve seen others post here about worrying about possibly having als, and all the users seemed very kind & helpful.
What should I do?

Hello-

Read here first please- Read Before Posting. It answers many of the questions that bring people here. Straight up, you don't report anything like ALS. If you have further worries about your health, please see a doctor first. A dent in your thigh does not mean a terminal disease, so it's pretty clear that your anxiety got the better of you. Please consider addressing that as well as speak with your doctor about any other health concerns.

Please take

Thank you very much for your response.
