You’ve been cleared of ALS based on a clean EMG and no documented clinical weakness on exam.

That’s as good as it gets!

It doesn’t matter that the right arm was not tested. A person with ALS will have EMG changes and/or documented clinical weakness in at least 3 of 4 regions (regions include bulbar, upper extremities, thoracic, and lower extremities).

Most ALS specialists don’t bother testing all muscle groups with EMG.

Jessie,

For your own good, I'm requesting a moderator to please close your thread. You're asking questions to people who are either dying or caring for someone dying.

We cannot continue to reassure you. The antidepressant will take about 4-6 weeks to kick in. Meanwhile, enjoy life and please do not post here again.

Thank you.

Yeah, the OP accepted the advice of the group, and has a happy ending--no ALS, confirmed.
For the OP's own good, this thread is closed.
