can massive amounts of stress speed up the progression of MND? Has this been shown? Curious.

If you scroll to the bottom of this page there are several threads that might help answer your question.

From my experience stress can, and does, significantly speed up progression. I have heard others say the same.

a resounding YES. Okay. I thought so.
here's my question, then... if you are able to reduce stress, does the progression also reduce... or once you've sped the disease process up, does it unfortunately continue that way?

thanks a lot.

My experience - get rid of the stress, symptoms definitely slow down.

I totally agree. Stress leads Gordie (my husband with PLS) to serious fatigue and increased weakness. Vitamins help significantly.

YES, YES, YES. Stress is terrible when healthy so imagine if your system is weak.
