My husband has not been diagnosed but we are dealing with severe loss of mobility over a 2 year period of decline. Left leg has tremendous atrophy. Most of the time he has difficulty bending at the knee (primarily on the left leg). He can make a slight bend but no more and usually walks be swinging his leg to the side to put one foot in front of the other. Are stiff legs a symptom of an MND?

Hi Just, my husband has Neuropathy due to Diabetes, and he has the same leg movements when he tries to walk. I am not saying yours has Diabetes. His leg muscles are gone, he has no strength, no feeling, and when he walks he just throws that one leg around, and when it hits the floor, that one foot comes down hard. Is that what your husband's leg/foot does?
