Not porn, sry! ;-)

I searched the Forum and found no definitive answer to this:
How do you manage your computer whilst in bed and sleeping?

On Every90Minutes, they mention a wall mount setup that's
1) No longer available, and
2) Requires tweaks.

I do have a rolling ConnectIT mount that I've used in bed, but it's static once rolled into place. If I lay down, I go out of the camera's range.

I am more wondering how to get things setup for middle-of-the-night Caregiver signaling and using the wake-on-gaze feature.

I have same problem. Using rolling mount for nap time adjusted so I can use it to send messages for help. I sleep with head inclined so works. I stay in bed four hours entertaining self on computer, putting on music to sleep. Works great.
nights we don't set it up, but maybe qq we should. I have no way to call for help so they check on me ever so often.

I am so drugged at night don't think I could eye type. Really need baby monitor at this point.

Hang it from the wall over the bed.

Are you near Colorado School of Mines? Their robotics program is very hands-on, looking to solve practical problems.

You might ask some college electrical engineering professor if they are interested.

Using face-recognition, a motor will track your face, and keep the computer pointed at you, and keep it at a standard distance away.

In this manner, your computer should hover somewhat near your head at all times, pointed at your eyes.

What do you use for a call button or an emergency signal?

Currently a baby (geezer) monitor but as my voice is a weak croak, I'm researching call systems.

Do you have any movement other than eyes? There are sensor pads that just need a little pressure. My sister had one and used her foot/ leg but it could be a shoulder or whatever still moves enough to activate

I wonder if a Kegel muscle could be hooked up to a switch. Just thinking out loud.

Thank you Mike for giving me the opportunity to enrich my English vocabulary and knowledge in human biology. I looked up Kegel muscle in the online dictionary and I found it interesting.
An anecdote a friend told me : after she gave birth to her first child she saw a physio to re strengthen the muscles there. When the physio asked her to «*do the opening flower with her muscles she looked for another physio

We used this combination for a call system which worked well for as long as my husband had some movement. The E-Z Call has a sensitive pad that for him we clipped near his head, this plugged into the SMART Wireless Fall Monitor which would send a wireless signal to SMART's Caregiver Pager. It's signal can reach pretty far, i slept upstairs and at the opposite end of the house. Kate

Oops!! Forgot to send picture. Hope I get it on here. IMG_0328.jpg

I hope you work this out Greg, it really hit me how important this will be as I read through the other post you made about the trials you are working on.

We resorted to a sip and puff to trigger an alarm for Matt. It was set so he could either blow or suck on the straw, which was positioned right by his mouth.

Once confusion set in, however, he forgot what it was for and got frustrated when he couldn't get an coffee through it!
