Get Real
We are fortunate that we have a large living room and dining room all in the
same big room.

Christmas Day night we had 6 young relatives visiting, sitting in the living
room, Ann was in the kitchen, I was at my desk surfing the computer just
for something to do.

I could have heard the cat fart. WHY?

Everyone of them were playing with their phones. :)

I know exactly what you mean Al. I have grandkids.

Ann broke the silence when she told everybody the snack counter was ready. :)

I don't have kids but my two 50 something nieces have kids and grands. They are pretty good about turning off their phones. They love playing games and cards and they love watching movies together. They always get together for meals and celebrations.

This will be the first year Ann and I won't be "Going Out" for New Years Eve.

"Nothing stays the same." :)

But... New years Day we will be eating black eye peas, collards, cabbage and
corn bread. When I boil the cabbage I put a silver dollar in the pot. :)
A Southern Tradition.

I don't do hog jowls or fat back. Nope. Ann fries a couple pieces of fat back
for her. :)

I'm not Jewish... I don't eat fat. I trim it off chicken, ham, pork chops and steaks

PS. I boil the collards out on the back deck
