Hello and thank you for your time. I am a 28 year old male living in Greece. About four years ago I had a really sudden onset of leg weakness, like I woke up and my legs were really sluggish like a day or two.
Due to my age I was not really worried about it. However, shortly after that my right hand started twitching, the area between thumb and index and a few days later I noticed some atrophy in that area so I panicked ( current pictures of my hand below).
Aside from my hand twitching, my right shoulder blade was twitching as well no stop for a few days also.
I went to a neurologist and she said I was fine, did an emg and some tests and I was dismissed.
Now, the thing that scares me the most is the Dysphagia I developed a year after. Drinking water became hard and I was choking pretty often also eating bread was nearly impossible and still is.
I arranged another appointment with an expertise in neuromuscular diseases and I hope for the best.
Anyone with some experience about the disease? I read about the split hand and i have to say it looks very similar to mine also my dysphagia really drives me into panic mode.
Again thank you for your time.

I can make my hand look the same if I do what you are doing so please read the following post, and notice that photos are simply not helpful.

You aren't describing ALS onset at all, what you think is weakness, is not.
We also won't argue against neurologists who are able to examine you.

If you really think something is wrong, do as you suggest and see an expert and then believe them. All the best.
