I’ve always had an interest in hearing about people’s dreams. I’m talking about the ones people have during sleep. I actually did a thesis during medical school on dream interpretation.
Last night I had one where I was walking around and realized I was wearing a BiPAP mask. Every time I tried to take it off, apparently another BiPAP mask found its way onto my face.
In the dream, I felt frustrated. When I woke up, I actually thought it was funny. I don’t mean any disrespect to those who must use BiPAP 24/7 because there is a possibility I will be there too some day. My interpretation of the dream is that the BiPAP mask represented my feelings about being possessed and trapped by ALS.
I know other people on this forum have mentioned their dreams. Some are terrifying. It is my belief that if people discuss their dreams, then that may lessen the horror of the really scary ones.
