This may/does not apply all that well for the Canadians on this site, but it may have some applications to the Americans. Below is an blurb from an email I received from a friend whose daughter has Fanconi's Anemia.

Good Search is a new search engine that donates half its revenue to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Be sure to enter Fanconi Anemia Research Fund as the charity you want to support. Just 500 internet users searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to check out GoodSearch on June 15th, as the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund is going to be featured as the Charity of the Day!

You can go on this search engine and put ALS for a charity choice short form. It will give you a variety of US funding locations/situations. It doesn't appear to raise very much money, but hey, every bit counts and the more people are aware about this, the more it can be used.

Looks like a good idea as long as there are no trackers put on you and you don't end up with new spam.Try it for a week or so T and report back. Al.
