I have been thinking about the Apostles' Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
and in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord.
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
The third day he rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God,
the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic (universal) church, the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

To those who affirm these beliefs, I greet you as brothers and sisters in Christ.
We are the universal church spoken of in the Creed. As Paul writes in Ephesians 2:19-22 (NIV):

19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.

Blessings to you!
