It is getting increasingly difficult for me to communicate with others how the drinking water cup should be positioned so that I could reach the straw without having to struggle holding my head up. Got the idea of attaching a cup holder to a computer controlled arm so that I could use the eyegaze system to do the fine tuning.

Any ideas?

I remember someone posting a link about a robotic arm. It looked amazing! I could not find it just now. Does anyone remember?

I used this cup holder, clipped inside the arm of my chair. It's called the drinklip uni.

I also find it difficult to communicate where the cup and straw need to be. Very frustrating! You can also probably use a camelpack hung on your chair with the spout next to your face. It doesn't dispense unless you bite and it works with gravity so you don't have to be able to sip. My sipping muscles are getting weak, so I'm going to try that soon. For now i get most liquid through my peg tube. But every once in a while, i want to feel it on my tongue.
