Right number of members?

Hi guys,

I'm preparing some slides for the ALS/MND Symposium in Birmingham on use of the internet by PALS and I'm trying to get some data on the different forums that are out there. According to the site stats at the bottom of the screen there are 7,000 members here but when I go through the member list I count about 1,400. Which is right?

Also can you remind me how long this site has been going?

There are over 7000 registered members but as you can imagine we are not told when a lot pass on or are unable to use the computer. The member list is not accurate either because there are people on it that I know are with us no longer. I think the forum started around 2002 but I'll check with David.

It would seem that we have about 5000 members and started in late 2003..

Also I can understand why Wikipedia won't give us a link but why won't PLM.
I thought we were in the same business. Support.
