Respiratory Weakness Early- Typical Path

Elizabeth, my Pals presented with early respiratory difficulties. First he had minimal use of upper limbs, fatigue . Lost lower limb movement, and then could not breathe, especially when laying down on his back. He used his bipap machine very early and it really prolonged and enhanced his life. I would say that bulbar only appeared late in his progression. Complete lack of movement, bipap 24/7, then inability to speak, followed by inability to swallow. One too many losses. Bloody disease.
