Hi all. I am new to this forum. I am a CALS. My husband has a " probable " diagnosis currently and is under the care of a neuro specialist.

We appreciate the fellowship this site offers not to mention the abundance of information. I (obviously ) was able to secure a membership, but my husband has had no such luck with registration.

Question: Anyone know why after multiple attempts to contact moderators regarding this issue (to no avail), the membership is not accepted?

Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi
Sorry about the problems. Those messages do not go to the mods who are powerless in this type of thing anyway but to admin/ IT who seem to be among the missing
Where does the process fail? Exactly what happens? If it is a true glitch I am afraid we can't help but if there is something that he can do differently we might figure it out. It should not be an issue with same ip address but I would try, if you have not already different device from a different address

Thanks Nikki J for the prompt reply.

Husband has an accepted user name and password and can log in. Upon logging in, he receives the following message:

Your account is currently awaiting email confirmation. Until you have received an email from us and clicked the confirmation link you will not be a fully registered member and will not be able to post.

Did he not get the registration confirmation email? Have you checked all his spam folders?

Nikki J,

Correct. Never received the confirmation email. Double checked the "junk" folder multiple times.

Then if there is no option to resend confirmation email suggest he reregister with another name and email address. I don't know where the issue is but that is all I can suggest. A while back my yahoo account suddenly started blocking all kinds of domain names and those emails were just gone

Another site question?

I am registered but my rules say I may not post attachments. I have been registered since 2011. And have around 24 posts on different threads. What do I need to do to change this?
Anna

Thanks for the advice Nikki J. We will try again.

Don't know but it may be number of posts. It is for private messages and that number is higher than 23 your current number not sure what it is though

Hi Anna. I have just gone 50 posts and have had a look...I am now able to post attachments, edit posts etc, so I'm guessing 50 must be the magic number in relation to your query.
God bless, Janelle x

Sorry Becky...can't help with your query...waaay beyond my level of expertise but I hope you get it sorted.
God bless, Janelle x
