Just had to share some great news. Thanks to the NSO at the Montgomery Regional Office of the Paralyzed Veterans of America my dh is now rated at 100% disabled! He accomplished in less than 24 hours what we have been waiting for for 4 months!

New doors have just opened for us and help will be available when needed.

God is Good, Thank you God! :grin:

What I learned at TriCare is ALS is an expedited disease. They will move heaven and earth for you. Let Veterans know so they can get help sooner.

I know that it was a huge relief to me when I found that I did not have to worry about paying the bills anymore. I got a small pension and SSI and it is not much, but enough to pay our bills.
My husband is an amputee and also my cargiver. He has a prosthetic leg and manages pretty good.
