guys thanks for the replies

but BethU,

It's not just I contort my face into unnatural positions... it's also when I just purse my lips or even just a regular smile - it's more difficult for me, and eventually I just can't do it anymore - my muscles just give in.

And Al:

what about twitching from use of a certain muscle - the everytime I use my one calf (put emphasis on it), the muscle eventually twitches...

also I noticed my one leg twitched above the knee, now it's only at the calf - isn't this evidence of the muscle dying and the process progressing and moving onto the next muscle?

It takes a lot of time (usually) for the upper leg muscles to die. Yours Ryan sounds like BFS. Most anyone can make muuscles twitch with use. Athletes usually have twitches at some time or another.

ryan,

What are you trying to do, defend an argument that you have ALS without anything medically to substantiate it?
