RCH4 Drug stopped by Dr. Bedlack

1) I don't understand why the recipients of the drug haven't sent the substance to a lab for analysis.
2) Injecting an unknown substance seems bizarre no matter how desperate you are.
3) I can't think of ANY neuro or any other specialist I know, who would treat a patient with a drug that hasn't been tested through the standard set up for safety. It just doesn't happen.

Hi, Tillie, the reason for the fair warning is that RCH4 patients may have felt intimidated by some posts in this thread, but they are entitled to chime in if they so choose and it was for that express purpose that this thread was allowed to continue as long as it did. We err here on the side of inclusion.

I'd continue to suggest that any differences of opinion with how these forums are moderated play out off line so as not to take the time of those who are here to read about ALS.
