Sometimes I still don't believe my diagnosis. When I can't do something I could do before, I feel scared.

Speaking of music, I watched a documentary on Eric Clapton last night. Music saved him from isolation and from himself. It broke his heart when his young son fell to his death. He again turned to music and wrote Tears in Heaven.
 
Al, for me it's like you said. When something new doesn't work I get a rush of anxiety and fear about dying. It makes everything "real" all over again.
