Oh, thank you, Tomswife and Mary, for replying. Every once in a while, I have what must be close to a panic attack, thinking I don't know what I'm doing. My husband's quickly changing needs are hard to stay in front of. However, I realize how lucky I am to be younger and have lots of help. I think about you all daily and look forward to your updates.

Are your PALS on a Trilogy? If so, do the masks bother them, and have you found a solution? Our RT office is very short-staffed, and we aren't getting much help.

My Pals is on a Trilogy with a mask that use to irritate his nose. The RT brought us a rubber strip to place on his nose. We didn't find that it helped much but it may help your PALS. We mostly used a band aid and over time his nose healed and it became less of a problem. My PALS uses the Trilogy 24 hours a day so it was a lot on his nose at first.
