Hi,
I had an EMG and my Dr said my results showed cervical radiculopathy. I have twitching in my arms, legs and face. I just printed out my results and it says, needle evaluation of right and left biceps, and right and left deltoid show motor unit amplitude, polyphasic potentials and diminished recruitment. Of course when I google all of that it says it’s abnormal and ALS keeps popping up. Can anyone help?

It sounds like there were no fibs or psws and those are also part of an als emg as well as a wide distribution pattern. you can post a deidentified report if you want. Please post only here. I moved your thread as you are not diagnosed

As I thought you have no signs of acute denervation as seen in als. Further your findings are not widespread but isolated which is why you were told radiculopathy. Itis the whole picture that matters. Your doctor is trained to evaluate the emg as a whole. Mr google is not. Please ask your doctor to explain further if this is not clear
