Hi All,
I want to be very respectful of this kind group's time and energy, so I will be concise. I am active on a BFS forum, as I've experienced persistent fasciculations for approximately 22 months. It is fairly well known that fasciculations associated with BFS worsen quite obviously when someone with a history of BFS becomes ill with a cold, flu, or the like. The fasciculations then return to whatever their baseline is once the person gets over said cold/flu. The question then arose - Is this acute worsening of fasciculations also seen when an individual with ALS catches a viral illness (e.g., cold/flu)? I appreciate all insights and will be conscious not to respond with additional questions. Thank you very much!
