Does she use a bipap? And does she have morphine for the air hunger sensations?

Co2 buildup means she's not getting enough air, which I'm sure you know, but be aware when that happens it can make her act different than normal...being cranky and the like. Try not to take it personally if she is verbally abusive in those conditions. As hard as that is.

Are you not able to sleep while she's sleeping so you can get some rest, too?

had to go get stronger blood pressure meds. starting to float in the 150's and 160's over 100's. I am training new nurses so I am not getting much sleep
