Used for two years by my mom, an ALS patient diagnosed in fall 2007. Includes front and back joystick controls, armrests, legrests, head/neck rest, comfortable thick padded seat with side support, wall charger. Perfect for mid or later stage ALS patient. You can also change some of the bells and whistles to accomodate earlier stage patients.
We paid $22,700 for it in Aug 2008. Very gently used, only inside the house. Parts (armrests, legrests, controller, seat pads) updated and replaced on Mar 30 2010 (all receipts kept).
My family always referred to it as mom's "cadillac" of wheelchairs because it was so nice
Our insurance only paid for $4k of the original costs, so we are hoping to recuperate some of the cost now that my mom has passed.
