Hi laurie

Thanks for the reply , I'm going to remove my account from this forum, I do not wish to offend any off the very brave folk on this forum, the reason I was takeing amitriptyline was because I developed full blown insomnia back in may 2020 , my neurologist put me on these to re start my sleep cycle, I took them for 8 weeks and stopped, this was the same neurologist who was investigating my muscle fasiculation and did the clinical test and sent me off for the emg test, 9 months ago , you mentioned that a second emg test would show no difference from 9 months ago , why would that be.

I wish everyone all my up most respect and thanks .

God bless.

Craig

The reason I am confident the EMG would show no concerning change relative to ALS is that you don't have any reason to research it to begin with.

As to other neurological conditions, they sound thoroughly explored.

That's why I'm pointing you back at primary care and sleep. They're what's left, that makes sense.

All the best.
