I am cutting and pasting this from my site.
I promise I'll be better tomorrow.

Today my friend Sheila brought over a prayer shawl from the prayer ministry at our church. It has been prayed over and it couldn't have come with better timing. I have had a completely stressful couple of days. Sorry to vent, but here I go. I always try to remain hopeful and courageous, but just for this one day, I am allowing myself to wallow.
Today I recieved news that my Grandma had a "mini"stroke. She is in the hospital in Pierre and so far sounds like she will be okay, but it is never news you want to hear. Grandma is one of my "rocks". With Zachs appt. tomorrow to get the 'real' cast on his broken wrist~ and the news she is stable, we will wait and try to get up there this weekend unless we need to go sooner.
When I got in the "Burb" to go pick up the kids, the battery was dead because I had left the key turned on because I was in panic mode after recieiving the news from my sister about Grandma. Thankfully my buddy (neighbor) Jeff came to the rescue and gave me a lift to go pick up the kids. THANK YOU!
My other neighbor Jan came to give me some herbal quinine for muscle cramps- I have been hunting for this all over. In the midst of it all the people in our lives always show up at the right time.
When Dan got home from work after listening to me pour all of this on- he left the car in neutral and it rolled backwards, around the corner and into our house. THANKFULLY it looks like minor damage to both the house and the car. The noise was impressive to say the least.
Sorry this is hodge podge, but quite honestly, I feel like my nerves have completely frayed leaving nothing but YUCK.
The appt. with Dr. Simmons went well. He is concerned with the way " WHATEVER IT IS" is affecting my ability to function and walking esp. He gave us the ppwk for a disability hanger for the Suburban. He remains hopeful that the specialist in Colorado next week will have definite answers for us and encouraged us to continue to hope for the NON ALS diagnosis.
PLEASE pray for my Grandma (Ruth) She is 91 and still lives independently and is an amazing source of strength and compassion. This is the same woman who hopped on the city bus to come see that Austin was okay for her OWN eyes when he was in the ICU a couple years back with a head injury and to give us a hug that only she could give. She has given so much to so many.
