Plavix and Curcumin

Hello all,

My mother was diagnosed with ALS 10/2020. She is not far from a breathing machine. 15 yrs ago she had two mini strokes and has been on plavix since. In researching ALS one of the supplements people have had success with is Curcumin as I understand it. It's said people on Plavix cannot take Curcumin. Is anyone familiar with an option for Plavix to be able to take Curcumin?

The issue as you probably know is it also affects blood clotting so increases the risk of bleeding. I don’t know any way to mitigate that.
Although i take it in the hope of reducing inflammation which is particularly common in my form of genetic ALS I am not sure it is doing anything and I would not risk it in your mother’s situation. Sorry. Of course you can discuss with her doctors
