Has anyone been following Peter Scott Morgan?
Peter Scott-Morgan, 62, is a scientist and robotics expert who has a master’s in artificial
intelligence and a PhD in robotics from Imperial College London, the first ever granted
by a robotics faculty in Britain.
In 2017, Peter, who lives in Torquay, Devon, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease
(ALS) and was told he had two years to live.
Understandably he was devastated, but he immediately looked on it as a science experiment
and an opportunity to prolong his life using robotics and become the world’s first cyborg – part-man,
part-machine – using modern technology to enhance his body.
There are several stories of his approach to prolong his life on Google.
