Hello,

I'm 23 and have 24/7 non stop twitching on both my calves for years now (3+ years). No pains or cramps whatsoever, and no weakness as far as i'm concerned. Anyway, the constant twitching would bother me to google my symptoms and well here i am posting about my symptoms. I didn't bother going to the doctor, since my symptoms have not become worse over the years - and tbh, i still don't know if i should go get it checked, since its "only" fasciculations. Have there been any cases, where an ALS patient would have twitching for years, before the symtoms gotten worse?

Hell

Hello there- please make sure to read this: Read Before Posting where it answers your question. In short, no. Twitching does not indicate ALS unless accompanied by other specific neurological symptoms. If you are concerned about your health, a doctor should be your first stop, but random twitching absent of anything else means this forum is definitely not for you!

All the best
