I'm curious as to how this starts. My reading talks about coughing and swallowing (going down wrong tube) issues. I have the feeling of a bit of a "ball" that things need to get around as I swallow. That's the only way I can describe it. Can someone give any kind of comment to that feeling?

My friend if you have already been diagnosed as having ALS you know how it starts. If you are taking about swallowing issues, everyone is different. ALS has no set patterns. Sorry I cannot be more help but you are asking a question that can’t really be answered.
Sorry Al

Yes, curious about the swallowing problem progression.
