I am 34, female. Experiencing random twitching all over (finger, toe, shoulder, stomach, side, butt, thighs and calves) which doesn’t last more than a few seconds. My Thumb twitched for a day and a half and stopped. Now I can see through the skin like a pulsing (guessing is twitching) and it is continuous and never stops. The thumb is not moving this time, it’s just visible on skin between by thumb and pointer finger. I have had weakness in my legs and my other hand has some weakness but not “failure”. My doctor referred me to see a neurologist. Should I be concerned about als? Thanks.

Did your doctor detect weakness or any other abnormality ? Did you ask for the referral ? If you did not why did the doctor suggest it?

I did mention if I should see a neurologist as I was worried about ms or als
