Thanks Annmarie for explaining the reflexes. This was brought up months ago and some members did not understand it. Your post explains it very easily!:-D

I have significant atrophy in both hands and forearms and my legs are going the same way too. My spec can't understand why I have so much strength left. He says it doesn't add up. He has given me a diagnosed of Atypical motor neurone as my progression doesn't match the usual clinical pattern. My problems began with weakness in my hands and arms, and then slightly later in my legs. I am still managing independently at the moment despite the atrophy-thank god.

Forgot to add that I think in the states you call MMN Atypical motor neurone disease. In the UK it just means that it doesn't follow the usual pattern.
