I am so sorry for your loss of your wife. Your posts always showed what a loving and supportive CALS you were. I am grateful she passed peacefully. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to everyone for their messages of support. We have certainly had a difficult couple of years but I know this forum was invaluable to me (and thus also helpful to my wife). I am in awe of all the shared experience and tips/suggestions.
Really, the only somewhat-positive thing I can say about ALS is that the passing was able to be so peaceful. I found it helpful to see others' posts about this side of things, so hope my experience and posts will serve some others elsewhere. It is "Welt" schmerz, after all...
