For the last 4 months I been experiencing twitching and jerks all over my body even places i never had them in my life like my stomach. I would twitch around 5 times a min. in random spots.

Also I workout alot and and Im starting to see a change . Im experiencing a lot more pulled and sore muscles after runnung and lifting weights and I also have to stretch . It would also take longer for me to recover from this. Im also going down in the amount i can lift

One last thing is I feel like my muscle are more soft and spongy in my arms and upper legs and I fell like my stomach is sticking out alot more . I felt like the stomach thing happen over night .

Dose this sound like ALS? If not any idea what it is ?

Have you been to the doctor yet? I am not one but twitching in ALS is not until the late stages and the nerves and muscles are dying. If you are really worried you should see a doctor.

You may need some blood work done and have your ck levels checked. Take care and maybe lay off the work outs until you see a doctor.

Sorry my post went to moderation for approval. It will show up later.

I forgot to note I have bad spasms when i open or close water bottle caps , Dose this sound like ALS?

You should go to the doctor. See if you can get some blood work done and check ck levels. It does not sound like ALS to me, but I am not a doctor.

What did your doctor say?

That should be your first stop.

@Southern22,

If you are looking for a diagnosis here, based on the symptoms you're describing, you've come to the wrong place. No one on this forum is a Doctor nor a Neurologist and it would be plain wrong or borderline illegal to give you a full diagnosis here.

The right place for you to start is at your GP office. If he/she detects that something is wrong with you, then he/she will give you a referral to see a specialist (a Neurologist in this case) and this specialist would be the right person to diagnose you by telling you either you have nothing to worry about or else.
But you've got to make an appointment and see him/her.

That the best advice I can give you. The Internet is not meant to be a replacement for a good Doctor's advice.

Regards,

NH
