New Years 2020...

A friend of mine who is fully aware of my situation said to me...

"Have a better and Happy New Year..."

I thought to myself for just a moment looked down with tongue in cheek and
almost sarcastically came back with... "Really??" But I let it go.

Whatever... we can't give up on happiness. Just now it's the smaller things and
maybe occasionally something bigger. Now... somewhat different though.

I had an aide leave here yesterday saying “Hope you feel better soon”. I think I’m feeling about as good as I ever will. lol.

Someone asked me if I had a bucket list. Yea, I'm going to run a marathon, hang glide, and hike the Appalachain Trail.....oh, I forgot...those were on my pre-ALS bucket list.

Well it’s the New Year for some, east coast US is just about there & the rest of us are soon to follow.
However our year ended, I hope we find moments of peace, kindness & love with family/friends as we enter another year together. Thank you all for your support/friendship as I began this journey in 2019’.
