Hello,

My father was diagnosed with PLS a few months ago, after 2 years of symptoms. He still has no lower motor neuron involvement, since he has no fasciculations, muscle wasting, or weakness.

However, he recently has been experienced a new symptom: when he yawns, his right arm trembles very visibly. For what I've heard, this is not a fasciculation per se. Has anyone experienced this symptom before? What is it?

Yes, I have a similar experiences and it’s not fasciculation because I have those too. I’m not a neurologist but it’s clearly related to nervous system dysfunction. Kind of feels like clonus.

Thank you very much -clonus fits within upper-motor neuron problems, so I guess this means that he still has not experienced lower-motor neuron problems...

I have same! Also, when I force right hand, my righ leg starts trembling. It is kind of subklonus. Stops immediatelly after or even before stoping jawning.
Is it that?
