Neuro Appointment

Hi all

Well i finally got my appointment for my Neuro appointment......18th November! I can not believe i have to wait that long.

I honestly do not think i can wait until then to see someone about this constant twitching, so i guess i am directing this question to people in the uk.

How much does a private Neuro appointment cost in the uk?

i was told a few years ago it was about £50 for a consultation, it could be a bit more depending on were you live and which hospital you go to.
you could be seen quicker by paying for a private consultation,how much so unless an emergency is another matter.
most neuro's like mine, there appointments can be booked upto a year in advance.
so you may have to wait for a cancellation.
your gp probably put you as a non urgent case,urgent cases are usually within 4 weeks as mine was for my first appointment.
you can keep the appointment you have for now but if in the meantime you do progress alot more see your gp again. they maybe able to bring your appointment forward.
